Steve Caballero - Skateborder
Steve Caballero was sponsored just one year after he started skateboarding. He's friendly, happy, and extremely talented. Steve invented several tricks, the most famous being the "Caballaerial". He says he still enjoys skateboarding as much as when he first started, and is always positive. Back in his prime, Steve Caballero would pull off massive backside airs (up to 11 feet high), and is one of the legendary skaters featured in the famous Bones Brigade skateboarding videos. In 1989 he was the first skater in history to get a signature pro skate shoe. In 1996, he skated at the closing ceremonies at the Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia. In 1999 he was named "Skater of the Century" by Thrasher Magazine.
Tony Hawk - Skateboarding
Tony Hawk is great Skateboder. He is harder on himself than anyone else ever could be. This drive is seen in Tony Hawk's skateboarding style. He is original and relentless. He has a monstrous list of skateboarding tricks invented. Some of them are Heel flip Slob Air, Stale Fish 720 , Varial 720, 900, and so on. He has huge stack of trophies and gold medals, and is easily the most recognizable name in skateboarding. He began skating in 1977. Tony Hawk has never settled for anything but his best, and his best skateboarding has earned him the position at the top. Tony Hawk has entered about 103 skateboarding competitions. He has won 73, and taken second in 19. His favored discipline is Vert.
Andrew Reynolds - Skateborder
Andrew Reynolds Skateboarding Andrew Reynolds is a technical skateborder, exact and precise. He also loves to take on big gaps and huge sets of stairs. In an interview with ESPN in 2005, he talked about heelflipping and frontside flipping down a 17 stair. Andrew Reynolds has become a bit of a skateboard "legend", having skated so well for so long. At X Games 11, Andrew Reynolds said he likes to, "go out and skate with my friends on stuff that's really not all that dangerous, and filming tricks on things. 1997 - Won 5th at X Games in Skateboard Park. In 1998 he got First place in Skateboard Street at SPOT, Tampa Bay, Florida. In 2001 he started BAKER Skateboards. In 2004 he won Silver Medal at X Games in Skateboard Park.
Jake Brown - Skateboarding
Jake Brown has some of the hardest vert skateboarding tricks dialed in, like 720s and his double kickflip mute. However, in competitions, Jake Brown tends to go for the biggest tricks, which often backfires if he doesn't land them. But skating conservatively is not Jake Brown's style, and his mastery of technical and flip tricks lead him to his first X Games gold finally in 2006. Jake Brown is known for being soft spoken about his incredible skating, and for his sly sense of humor. He likes the tail grab 540 and backside airs, and grinds. In 2005 he won "Best Vert Skater" from TransWorld Skateboard Magazine. In 2006 he won silver in big air at X Games. In 2007 he won silver at X Games in Big Air, where he also fell 50 feet and walked away from it.
